I Love TurboTax

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1996 and it get's better every year. I love Turbo Tax. I tell all my friends if they are not using Turbo Tax they should be.
What's great about it: I populates data from the previous years' tax return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall experience was good except that the updates got hung up on 4-15 and ran all night. I filed an extension and filed on 4/22.
What's great about it: intuitive, easy
What's not so great: could not file 4-15 because updates would not come through

Overall I thought that the product was good. it made doing taxes easy. I'm not sure why they charge for fling the state return after you spend all the money to purchase the program in the first place. Once the program is purchased, you shouldn't have to pay for filing.
What's great about it: Easy to use, Step-by-step instructions,
What's not so great: Have to pay for state filing,

Done it AGAIN

This is about the 20th year that I have used the Intuit sysem of Quicken and Turbo Tax.
The listing of areas is about the same and the questions help organize the records needed.
Some of the logic in the steps through the forms seemed out of order. But managable.
Good job staying up with the ever changing taz code and making it simpler for us.

Turbo Easy

I have used Turbo Tax for 10 + years now and I love it. It is easy and very thorough and helpful. Now by using it each year all my info is transferred and I can see what I did last year. Keep up the good programming.

Wouldn't do my taxes without it! It gives me the confidence to tackle a ridiculously complicated task.
What's great about it: Does the math, checks all the rules
What's not so great: Confucion between Schedule C and 1099 income

Quick and Easy

I like Turbo Tax its easy to follow I prefer it to the old pen and paper process. The fact that it covers all the details of taxes (medical, school, property taxes, unemployment,etc.)
What's great about it: Step by step process
What's not so great: Extra fees at the end of the process
