Keep rockin' it!

Overall, and excellent, intuitive product. I LOVED how easy it was to navigate back to whichever section I needed to revisit after I had gone through the initial interview. Also, for the deductions, it shows you side-by-side what your deductions were the previous year compared to the current year (assuming you imported last year's return).
Entering medical expenses and stock transactions are always the most difficult and confusing parts of preparing a tax return. TT's breakdown of medical expenses was different than mine.
I didn't like having to upgrade to Premier to do the stock trades.
What's great about it: Eaxy to get the sections you need, even after the initial interview
What's not so great: It was a little confusing entering the medical expenses because it breaks it down differently than I did.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Estimated Tax calculation

As to the cons - if you could ask a general question up front "are you interested in additional IRS protective resources?" and let the answer either trigger or eliminate the follow on solicitations it would save many of us a lot of time.
Suggestion:
For those of us whom have to receive a RMD, from an annuity every year, can that be figured into the estimated taxes calculation. I know what our RMDs are going to be so if I could input that amount it might help avoid a under payment penalty.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Asks too many "do you want this extra" questions

And where did all the extra fees come from? E-file used to be free.
What's not so great: Too many steps before completing the e-filing

Mom Died - Return rejected

IRS and state rejected the electronic filing because it requires Form 56 Fiduciary Relationship. Missed deadline. Although not a usual situation, It certainly isn't isolated. Hopefully, fixed next year.
What's great about it: Consistent process year to year, generally correct
What's not so great: Missed required form for death of taxpayer
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

turbo tax was easy and quick.i was not told that the refund would be taken and that I needed ti file a form 8379. I am a little upset for not bea\ing told to file the form so I would get my portion of the refund.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: not clear about student loans

Balked at going to State Tax filing had to go through many extra steps to finally file. Downloading 1099s isn't as clear and easy as it should be

The program is over developed, its not become easier to file my return by paper.
and The survey page needs to go away , I am trying to get past it and it wont let me.
I ve never had a problem in past year filing manually for last 50 years. I turned to turbo a few years ago and it been okay, however this year, your software has become less easy to use.
What's great about it: review of return and calcs
What's not so great: more complicated than previous years and I cant get past your survey page , which i dont want to do.
