This is the best version of turbo tax so far. Worth the money until you get to the Home-Business version.

Needs Clarification

Quality of the software hasn't improved much the past few years. Some sections continue to be vague with poor or no examples. It would be nice to have an option to check off each section to complete before-hand to get a time estimate. This info can be imported from previous years taxes. It was also sad to see that not all federal taxes was imported into state taxes, including one section that didn't import it until a subsequent summary section instead of first in the relevant section.
What's great about it: Previous year import and quicker than manual taxes.
What's not so great: Many confusing sections with poor or no examples

Initially had issue with being able to update without being in administer mode. Was a pain until figured it out and your updates took care of the issue. Need cost of state e-file to role into product or go away.
What's great about it: Always easy to use
What's not so great: Updates and compatibility issues

Like pulling teeth

Found that you needed to know and understand what was allowable so that you would continue to "dig" to find where to put your deductions.,
What's great about it: had listings & did computations
What's not so great: IF you didn't have experience with doing taxes, this did not really "walk you through" efficiently enough

2013 Quicken Filing

I have used Turbotax for at least ten years for both federal and state filings without any audits or issues.
What's great about it: Handled All Situations Federal and State
What's not so great: Time to Load (minor)
