Did a great job of working you through the myriad topics while giving you easy and comprehensive instructions so you can made informed and correct decisions on how to report tax-worthy information.
What's great about it: Complete instructions; thorough menu of tax topics; easy download of my investment accounts for Schedule B

i HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR AT LEAST TEN YEARS AND HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. FOR THE BEST RESULTS I USE TURBO.

2013 T Experience

Was able to finish my personal return in an afternoon even with the complications for this year. This is the fastest I've ever completed a return.
What's great about it: No issues with the flow or the work needed to complete the return. Conistent and easy enough to follow.
What's not so great: Take way way too load to load up. Minutes rather than seconds.

Installment Sale Income glitch

Tried several avenues to delete a small installment income erroneous start on my part and the program would not let me do it, or at least I could not find the avenue to eliminate the installment sale income.
What's great about it: Helpful and easy to follow the steps

I have been filing taxes for 40 + yrs, sometimes helping friends & family with theirs. This was the quickest & simplest method I have ever experienced.

1116 Foriegn Tax Credit is a Poor Effort

Certain of Turbo taxes features get worse from year to year. The foreign tax credit is among them. This credit is linked to a Form 1116 and the process is Byzantine to find the link and to keep multiple country entries straight. This is a common credit and it really needs a lot of work to make it even remotely resemble "user friendly". Some of the Limited Partnership entries are similarly obtuse. Also, you can't e file in NJ w/o a NJ 1099R which is a form that does not exist, and Turbo Tax wont let you make one. For a product that generates this much revenue it ought to be able to handle these long time issues much better than it does.

What's not so great: Tedious and incomprehensible processes
