Program works great as usual but can't believe the cost of filing the state went up 67%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll re-think which program we want to use for our 2014 taxes even though we have used Turbo Tax since 2001.. We did not realize how much it went up until our returns were complete and we were ready to file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So simple and easy to do in the comfort of your own home. I'll save hundreds by doing my own taxes. No more procrastinating, I'm actually looking forward to doing them next year!

Please add senior care, ie., rental, service care, medical care, memory care services as medical care for deductions. Need steps to go through this area carefully to obtain all and accurate deductions.

Not trusting

I am so stressed right now, after realizing my money was not taken out to pay my taxes on time due to an error which did not show up when I first e-mailed my taxes or so I thought. Now I will owe a penalty.
Had a similar problem last year but at least I sent the money in by mail and had to mail my return in sometime at the end of 2013.

Improved But Needs Work

Latest TurboTax is cleaner and somewhat easier to follow, but still needs design tweaks and an additional reminder near end of federal tax section.
1. On more than one page where there was little other content and plenty of available space, I had to scroll up or down even on my high resolution 21-inch PC monitor to see the "Continue" and "Back" buttons. Someone needs to test each page under various screen resolution options to create every opportunity to see the control buttons without scrolling wherever possible.
2. I pay state estimated taxes every year, and every year I approach the end of by state return and start looking in vain for the place to enter my payment info. The help section referred me back to the deductions and credits section of the federal return, but it would be very helpful to add a screen to the state return section that offers a second chance to enter state-tax payment info.

Great until I tried to file electronically

would not allow electronic filing...now I have to make atrip to p.o. as well as rounding up an envelope and stamps. downloaded all updates, but still wouldn't work...frustrating to say the least!!!!!
