I have used Intuit products since 1995. I feel comfortable with most of the features of those product. That is why I continue to use your product.
What's great about it: I really like that turbo tax rolls my information from last years tax information to this years tax information
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Love TurboTax
on April 17, 2014

I use TurboTax every yr. I used H&R Block's software one yr and I was very disappointed. I went right back to TurboTax the very next yr and have not switched again. I like that I can choose forms mode or interview mode. I like that I can save my returns as a .pdf file. It's just an all around quality product.
What's great about it: love using the software. Toggle between form mode and interview mode
What's not so great: So many questions to answer

There in not much to say about your product.
Not only you have made the preparation of Taxes pleasurable, but you also help us learn about our tax system and operation.
Some suggestions to be consider, for future years:
After a return is finished / filed, rather than just "exit turbo tax" another option should be given: "go to the opening screen (home)", as you may want to prepare another return.
Many states are given the option of E-Filing directly on their websites (or mandatory e-file when the federal return is e-filed). Turbo Tax should consider lowering the e-filing fees for such states, or providing the e-file for free.
What's great about it: big improvements from previous years
What's not so great: still room for more improvements.

Turbo tax works just like it has for the last 25+ years that I have used it. No surprises, just continually gets better.
What's great about it: EXACTLY AS I EXPECTED - EASILY WALKED THRU EVERYTHING
What's not so great: SLOW TO INSTALL
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great for preparing; poor for debugging a return
on April 18, 2014

Preparation pro:
Prepared two returns with SchC one of which had 21 W2Gs. Entering 1040, SchA, B, C data was painless. Entering W2G data for one W2G is painless.
Preparation con:
Entering W2G data for many W2Gs is painful. So much repeated keying of payer data. Wish I could import a .csv with a table of required fields. Then I could use the spreadsheet <copy down> feature (ctrlD in Excel) to repeat input.
Debugging: just a con:
After eFiling federal, the return with W2Gs was rejected for "payer ID not in IRS database" on two of them. Guessing which oW2Gs were at fault isn't an appropriate way to debug. Performing an audit, comparing each original with the info on the entry, a linear search, is painful. Getting to the place where you enter W2Gs (and see a list indexed only by Payer) requires about 4 page views, if you know where to look, a dozen or so to search it out for the first rejection. Displaying one of the W2Gs requires a click and paging. Getting back to the list of W2Gs requires two more clicks.
Suggestion:
Permit export of all the list of W2G data into a .csv. The reverse of the suggested import, suggested above.
What's great about it: Complete coverage of my needs
What's not so great: Rejected return: hard to find actual errors
