It missed some errors because I did not go through the guidance part step by step. So the important thing is to answer every question.
What's great about it: still easy to use
What's not so great: not for complicated taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Once the Electronic Filing instructions were printed, thought the return was submitted, so now I'm filing late. Always charges for state tax return and would like to see that included.

It Could Be Easier!

Another aspect that would help people, is to provide a snapshot of those deduction categories filed in previous years as a guideline to average and, presumably, proper deduction levels.
But the greatest shortcoming in TurboTax is the failure to provide either an AutoSave capability or a reminder at each section to "SAVE YOUR WORK!".
What's great about it: As easy and direct as possible considering the convoluted and asinine US tax code.
What's not so great: Requires more AutoSave features, or reminders to Save your work.

easiest taxes I ever did

Last year I spent days doing our taxes and still got it wrong, I shorted us by quite a difference. This year we bought Turbo Tax and was done with our taxes in an hour. Thank-you for such an amazing product. I will recommend you product to everyone I now.
What's great about it: VERY user friendly
What's not so great: extra cost at the end to file I didnt now about in the begining

I am victim of identity theft involving 2012 return. I don't know how someone got my name/DOB/SSN, but possibly from TurboTax e-filing.
What's great about it: Step-by-step instructions and helping to find deductions

My first online experience

This was my first experience filing online, and buying the software to do it. I was very happy with the details and how I feel safe and secure that my taxes were done correctly.
What's great about it: I was able to stay on track with each step.
What's not so great: I wasn't able to get an explanation in layman's terms of EIC.

this year's version was not as good as past years

my state return was rejected. the "help" in resolving the problem was nonexistent. While filling out the state form I kept getting error messages and it was not clear as to what the problem was. This was the worst version of your software that I have used.
As further evidence of the unfriendly nature of your software, your review rejected my nickname. RIDICULOUS!!! It has now rejected my nickname 3 times. Is it no wonder that my state return was rejected. It happened a fourth time because someone had my nickname
What's great about it: none over prior year returns
What's not so great: state return was much tougher
