Payment Problem

I wanted to pay my Federal taxes from my checking account, have my NJ refund sent to my checking account, but pay my MD taxes from a credit card. TurboTax forced me to pay my MD taxes from my checking account also.

Fastest taxes yet

Makes doing taxes as painless as possible. I used the "flags" this year and love the way it takes me back to a place where I didn't have all the information on-hand during the first pass. I did notice that when I entered text book expenses for my wife's night classes, the refund changed. When I entered textbook costs for my son in college, it didn't change the refund at all. Not sure why one worked, but not the other. Obviously, a quirk of the tax code, not a program bug.

Been using Turbo Tax for several years...its the best way to go.....goes over in each segment to make sure you have entered everything correctly,
What's great about it: Goes over every detail & then asks you to check again
What's not so great: this years delay in being able to finish

I am very please with the software. It was helpful with the detail questions and especially finding ways for me to save tax. I would recommend Turbo Tax to any one I know.
What's great about it: Quick,easy and thorough instruction.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax 2013 - Maybe too smart

Overall I was pleased with the experience, but as a long-time Turbo Tax user, and someone who understands his taxes, I was a little disappointed with the interview this year. It just skipped things that I usually covered each year as deductions without explaining why. This lead me to many times stop my interview, dig through IRS booklets and instructions, to find out that I had exceeded a threshold this year and therefore I no longer qualified for the deduction. In some cases, the data was not available in the online help.
Also, having purchased the software in March, installed it in March, and opened it for data entry on several occasions, I was perturbed that when I got around to entering my deductions on April 13, the Sales Tax could not be properly processed because an update from 12/13 was not yet installed.

Poor Product - Very disappointing

Will not use it next year. I was very disappointed.
I bought it, filled everything out and then couldn't file as the "forms weren't available???? What did you sell me but an incomplete producct
I should have used the interent to begin with...would have saved a lot of time and frustration.
When I filed it changed the time zone so I lost three hours and that put it after midnight.
What's not so great: could not file an extension, software CD req'd a download
