Not your best TurboTax

Had to spend time looking for info 2013 couldn't find in 2012. Mainly depreciation of assets, during the review process kept asking for 2012 dep of assets, info was in 2012 returns (I used turbotax delux 2012 last year). Also, program crashed on me several times, thankfully after the third time I started manually saving the return after every entry to avoid having to enter info several times. Also, noted that some figures wouldn't show up in the review page after a crash, had to re-do several sections for it to recognize the figures and recalc. Don't recal 2012 being this erratic or problematic.
What's great about it: Imported most of the info from previous 2012 turbotax
What's not so great: Did not import all info from turbotax delux 2012, crashed several times during process

State Tax Fail for Refund

For the past two years (2012 and 2013) the state filing has shown a refund is due to me. I had estimated taxes withheld when I requested funds from an IRA. The application indicated that an additional form was required and that it would be printed after I filed electronically. Forms were filed and no additional, physical, forms were created. he state came after me last year for additional taxes until I was able to get hard copies of my 1099 DIV forms from my IRA.
What's great about it: Gets the State Info fast from Federal Info
What's not so great: State Needs More Info to Process Refund

At review, I did not under stand the Initial 7 problems or errors found. Ihad to delete Several Deductions and re-enter them. After that it would not accept or did not report some Buisness expencess. I lost out on about 500.00$ Because I ran out of Time trying to figure out The problems with the review Errors.
What's great about it: Walks you through individual aspects of deductions
What's not so great: When doing review, does not help fixing Problems.Help does not give enough info to fix problems

Turbo Tax cloud

After completing my return the program reccomended I back up my return and gave me two options...1) to print copies or 2) back up to turbo tax cloud. Multiple attempts to back up to the TT cloud failed ...Message said "It didn't work"....try again. ????? Not a satisfactory experience
What's great about it: actual tax prep was good experience
What's not so great: Could not back up to the Turbo Tax cloud

What's great about it: Major lift with itemized deductions
What's not so great: I still have to do taxes. Can you indicate what the late penalty may be?

Best Year Ever

This years verison of Turbo Tax was a lot easier to use than in my past years. It updated with ease, zipped right through each process. When I clicked on the help area to understand a subject, the help info popped right up. Thanks for the improvements.
What's great about it: Easiest software version yet.

trouble in torbo tax land

my state Mn kept looping and I couldn't finish so I paid for electronic filing but had to print it out and go mail it at 955 pm on the 15 th all the way downtown very agrivating . Also when filing jointly my wifes income was taxed even though she's on ssid and should be tax free so we filed separately another fee for state filing but a lot more refund ive herd this is an error in programing so I've lost confidence in turbo tax but I do my kids taxes so I will most likely be back next year
What's great about it: ability to seperate state and federal when having problems
What's not so great: State is expensive and does't work right
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbotax takes the pain out of filing

I have used several other tax prep packages in past years, but Turbotax is the easiest and most reliable. I have used it for the last 4 years and am very satisfied.
What's great about it: Very user-friendly, walks you through each section of the return, provides helpful explanations.
What's not so great: Have to pay a small additional fee for state e-filing
