deluxe not handling k1

T he printing is too complicated vs older version
What's not so great: deluxe which used to handle k1 had to buy premier can I get a refund from you for the useless deluxe
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good, but has a few bugs

We have used TurboTax for several years, and it has been a reliable tax program. However, every year I always encounter a few glitches that make it less than perfect. For example, in this year's edition, I accidentally clicked "Yes" I have a 1099-Misc form to input (when I really did not). Even though, I did not enter anything in this section, no matter what I did, I could not figure out how to get the related forms to a 1099-MISC to go away. This made the process a bit frustrating and not as user friendly as it could be. Overall, the program is good, and I would recommend it, if you have the patience to overlook this kind of bug that continues to exist after all these years.
What's great about it: Generally easy step-by-step process
What's not so great: Glitches in the system

I love turbo tax

I've used turbo tax for years and I find it extremely easy to use. I'm glad it was made easier this year by not having to type in charities addresses. I think it is extremely user friendly and have recommended it to family members who also use it now too. I think that speaks for itself, because they used to take their taxes to be done. I know we get more money back by doing it ourselves because a lot of these questions were not asked by our previous tax preparers.
What's great about it: Imports previous years tax info
What's not so great: My bank isn't one that can be imported

Returns Rejected

I have submitted my Federal and NYS returns three times and they have been rejected. The reason stated is that I claimed a dependent (my son) who's SS number is on a return he filed separately as independent. When I went through the step-by-step process I indicated that he was not a dependent. But his name and SS number still appeared on my return along with a worksheet for him because it was copied from last year's return when he was a dependent.
It is now April 16th and my return is late to the IRS for which I owe money. I will probably be penalized for a late return and late payment. I don't feel this is fair. Seems to be a software glitch.

I've always done my own taxes…years ago, pencil, paper, and calculator. For the experienced or new user…turbo tax software is great. Walks you through everything, one two, three….done!

Importing

When showing an error after the initial input allow access to fix the problem. Had to go out and reopen turbo tax in order to delete zeros in a box that should have been empty. Other than than Excellent program.
What's great about it: Excellent concept of iinputting all info needed.
What's not so great: Trouble taking out mistakes or items iinput which are not needed.
