Filing headaches

A form I required to file on time still had not been updated by the IRS. I still will need to file it in an amended return, but I had to delete it along with all of the information I had taken the time to enter in an effort to file on time. The Mac version also had trouble downloading updates which caused a delay in my filing as well. I was able to search online and find the answer to the problem. Communication from Intuit regarding this matter would have been helpful, I could have been done sooner.
What's great about it: Can easily input items from the previous year's return to save time
What's not so great: Cannot omit a form from e-filing without deleting it entirely

Awesome (Will) William!!!! So Patient…...

Hi - Just got off the phone with William (Will) on a 2 hour phone call. He was amazingly patient and he deserves a raise, not a quarter but a dollar. I'm sure he treats all customers the way he did me with professionalism, patientence, and when he didn't know something he went and found out. He walked me through everything. I have never been late with taxes and for the first time in 28yrs of filing this year I was. It was stressful as you can hear from the recording my oh my Gods….I like using Turbo Tax and have learned how to navigate this Mac computer thanks to Will.

What's great about it: Easy to fill out taxes, I had 3 W2s and 1 1099
What's not so great: Difficult taking payment, then charged twice, wouldn't let me print
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have been using Turbo Tax for years, without incident until this year, when I discovered that all information from last year was lost, and could not be imported. More instruction on how to properly close out the program, without losing the information needed for import the next year is needed.
What's great about it: Getting better every year,except...
What's not so great: Lets see more instruction on closing out the program when finished

I've used turbo tax for years and I've never had any problems and each year they make it easier to use and list new situations that might come up.
What's great about it: easy to understand and make sure you don't miss anything
What's not so great: no cons

Feel Safe No nite mares

The instructions are very simple and easy to follow and after You check the forms and info No Problems in the Future..
This is my 5th year with you all and for my family

Need State filing included or for less.

TurboTax should be able to offer the State file much cheaper or for free and provide reliable ongoing capture of entered information. A bit disappointed in usability. However, this program has been my choice for tax time since its invention.
What's great about it: maintain records without reentering a lot of items.
What's not so great: did not save when computer shut down or when accidentally closed program.

My Taxes

I would recommend this product for all level of filers. Its easy to use. It saves money compared to going to the tax preparation offices. Refunds are sent when promised and fast notification process of return acceptance.
What's great about it: Great and easy to use.
What's not so great: It's a little slow at times. Won't allow you to add other IRS forms other than standard forms.
