Taking the anxiety out of those dreaded taxes

I've been using Turbo Tax since it was made available to the public. It has honestly removed the dread I would feel as April 15th loomed. It's easy to use, extremely affordable and provides a simple road map for completing all the forms that are necessary to file your taxes. And best of all, it allows you to save all your records and updates your new tax forms in the following year! Why use anything else?
What's great about it: Easy to download, easy to follow, easy to input information

Easy Peezy

I love that Turbo Tax takes me through step-by-step, and if I don't understand a line item and need more info, I can click for a detailed info box. Very cool. I was a little frustrated when I wanted to review before filing. I clicked on Federal, and it made me go through all of the steps. Otherwise, quick and easy. Thanks for this!
What's great about it: Super User Friendly
What's not so great: To review had to go through all steps :(

I use Quicken to keep track of my contributions. When I import them into TurboTax it doesn't match up this years named recipients with the worksheets from last year!
What's great about it: Fast and easy to use
What's not so great: Didn't match up my contributions to worksheets from last year

Good product - could give more explanations

I have found turbo-tax to be very good at taking the information I provide and correctly figuring my taxes. The only improvement I would like to see is better explanations of what data is required and why. Basic things are well explained, but some of the less frequently used features sometimes leave me puzzled. Then it's off to google to figure out what is going on. Some good links would be a great help. But overall, a good product. I've been using it for years and will continue to.
What's great about it: Does the taxes well
What's not so great: Light on help when I have questions

Software problems

Program has a variety of questions that require a yes or no response. This is activated by clicking on either the yes or no. However, for some reason when returning through many of those sections for review, Turbo Tax does not show any yes or no responses clicked. ALSO simple math on amount of Federal taxes withheld, minus amount of taxes owed is incorrect, and no way shown to manually correct the subtraction error. No response made from inquiry to Turbo Tax community. I still do not know if my refund is correct on either the Federal or State.
What's great about it: Process layed out okay
What's not so great: Dots dont Dot

16 Year Turbo Tax filer

I have utlized Turbo Tax for years, both the on line Radio version as well as the hard copy / download version with no issues.
This year I submitted my return on the 14Th. and the next day I received a rejection from the IRS. Come too find out my ex-wife's tax person made a mistake on HER return and apperantly imported data from the prior year and clamed a dependant that should not been on the return, thanks to this product I have all my prior returns on file and with NO help from the service that made the error I am confident that my return is correct and will be accepted.
Sending in my Paper copy today and upgraded my audit defiance just in case,
99.90% is my rating.
