Multiple Returns

In previous years starting a new return was quick and easy. I do three returns each year and it took me longer to be able to start a new return than it did to complete two of the returns. I am educated person that knows my way around a computer but this year was very difficult and not very user friendly.

Good overall

Schedule A of the 1040 was not updated. Could not finish until I found the update option. Help should state to try updating rather than just give a date in the past when the form is suppposed to be available from the IRS.
It also needs an auto-save. I had my old XP desktop lock up and I lost a bit of progress that had not yet been saved.

Enjoyed working with this program as I have done in previous years. Did not encounter any problems with it.
What's great about it: Program did not have any glitches to prevent me from filing.
What's not so great: taxes are taxes
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Review 2013 Turbo Tax

I could not tell where I was working at -- online or off CD program while just trying to file my first ever tax return. Just wanted to do an EZ form but still got all the worksheets and "quickzooms." Too much for a simple return.
What's great about it: Good record keeping
What's not so great: confusing between "online" and CD version to file a 1040EZ

Always a life saver of time!

Would prefer if there was a way to shorten the number of screens for answering the questions. Perhaps smaller font to get more questions on the screen. Also seems to need improved questions and greater details for preparing State returns and filing processes. Additional State purchases were somewhat pricey considering the software investment and filing charges. Overall TurboTax never lets us down!
What's great about it: Love the assisted questions as well as direct access to forms
What's not so great: Move the <OK> button to the right of the screen instead of left side and pre-position cursor

Very repetitive. Don't see why I have to tell you so many times I have no foreign investments, for example.
Sometimes choices offered are not what the document being entered reports (Example: 1099-B) There was no A or B, which you asked for. There was a 1a and a 2a and and 1b and a 2b. Felt I was unable to correctly list what my document provided. Your choices did not include what my document was telling me.

What's great about it: Good to be rid of having to give addresses of charities
What's not so great: what Help shows as a choice s/b a choice on the entry page
