Finally over

Turbo Tax is easy to use. I like the step by step instructions as well as the ability to jump to a form if I know which one I want. I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and I like the fact that more of the places I do business with now download their data, i.e., banks, mortgage company.
What's great about it: More business partners allow electronic downloads of my data.
What's not so great: Charge to efile State return was too high

Very helpful and easy to use interface. Customer service reps were very friendly and helpful. The donation section with link to ebay values was very helpful.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: Long, but expected wait on hold
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

The filing process seems to get easier every year. All the previous information is pulled forward for review and much of the new information is imported directly. Very slick!
What's great about it: Dependable, fast
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

1.9 million?
on April 16, 2014

I love turbo tax. I have been using it since 2006. It was just a little scary that the error check passed my typo on mortgage INSURANCE WHICH WOULD HAVE DOUBLED MY RETURN AND CAUSED A HUGE ERROR.
Otherwise, I have had only one $400 error on a return from 2011. Not bad, I would say, since I am using my non accountant brain to fill out my tax return.
AND, never an audit~ can't beat that!
What's great about it: So easy to fill out. Reminders on possible extra return
What's not so great: error check let me pass through 1.9 million in mortgage interest instead of 19,000
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

you'd be crazy to try any other tax software... i've been using TT since 2004 and it continues to be the easiest, most efficient tax software available. keep up the GREAT work Intuit!!!
What's great about it: able to show me how to not have to pay taxes on short sale
What's not so great: gift card to coffee shop with software would be nice ;-P
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Done!

At end, received a msg that info from box 1 on a W-2 was missing. Info had been entered manually since this one didn't have import capability. Looked like it had been entered but trying to figure out which one was missing was problematic. 2:3 had been imported, 1 was manual. If s/w is smart enough to tell me info is missing, it should post the missing one by ID ratther than having to guess (thinking one import might have had a glitch). Instructions for updating were not a match for what appeared on screen but got it done eventually.
What's great about it: e-filing
What's not so great: problem with manual entry of one W-2
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
