Easy done

Easy to use, will use again next year. I have used TurboTax professional program for many years and now after retirement will continue to use the personal version.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Works well year after year

As a long-time user of TurboTax, I've been especially impressed with improvements made year after year. My living status changes periodically, and TurboTax keeps up. The online help system and community are a priceless part of the equation.
What's great about it: Walks through each step, carries over information from the previous year
What's not so great: How to handle child taxes is a little confusing

One More Time

The Turbotax CD should work smoothly with Windows 7, but alas, it did not. I couldn't load it. I had to call for help, and we ended up downloading the program online. The helper was excellent, however.
I've been using Turbotax for 10+ years. Long time customers should get a discount. I purchase the CD each year at a local store because it's cheaper than paying online with turbotax.
What's great about it: Easy to use; pulls up previous years without a hitch; good walk-thru.
What's not so great: Could not install the CD and had to get help; ended up downloading the program.

I have used turbo tax for the last three years and I will continue to use it. It is fast, convenient it got me the most out of my refund......yeah.
What's great about it: Easy to understand

Turbotax gets better every year

I've been using TurboTax since 1994. You get numerous benefits from using the product year after year. Automaticity populating the current year with information from older years is just one example. I've not always finished my taxes feeling happy, even if I got a refund. Once, I purchased a more expensive TurboTax solely because of a confidence built from years of use. Imagine my surprise at learning the UI was drastically changed into something that took hours of effort to navigate? Thankfully, today's TurboTax has been stable and intuitive for many years. The 2013 version feels as smooth and silky as software gets. Sometimes the state tax add-on isn't as smooth, but for most states you are finished in only a couple of minutes. I'd recommend the product to everyone. I have total confidence in it.
What's great about it: Most Intuitive and sleek ever since I started using it in 1994
What's not so great: State add-ons are not always as sleek as the federal forms

how about some refi-examples

mortgage finance documents are intentionally cryptic. if you had some example versions of legitimate re-fi's showing what could be deducted then it would have made my return easier. I'm still not sure I got all the tax relief I should have.
What's great about it: easy to use ... i've been with it since the floppy-disk versions
What's not so great: i refi'd my mortgage this year. would prefer examples

I have used Turbo Tax for a decade, and I have always had good results with it. I have consistently recommended it to others.
What's great about it: detailed, accurate, updated to the newest codes.
What's not so great: A very few people will need something more comprehensive.
