PDF Files, and MIssing Forms

I have used Turbo Tax for at least the last 8 years that I can remember. It makes tax time so much easier!
However this year Turbo Tax was unable to retrieve my previous information which unfortunately caused me to have to enter everything in AGAIN! I love the fact that it usually can retrieve all of my personal, finacial, and employment information. So then all I have to do is fill in the blanks.
This problem seemed to have started last year when I saved my file to my PC. The only option allowed for saving your data is in pdf format. This was not the prefered way to retrieve the information by Turbo Tax 2013, and after several attempts at retrieving the pdf file I gave up.
However this year Turbo Tax was unable to retrieve my previous information which unfortunately caused me to have to enter everything in AGAIN! I love the fact that it usually can retrieve all of my personal, finacial, and employment information. So then all I have to do is fill in the blanks.

The other problem I encountered was that there was a tax form that it made an attempt to go over with me, general sales tax I do believe it was called, It stated the form had not been updated with the IRS yet so I was not able to complete this section. Good News the form is expected to be available 12/30/2013, and Turbo Tax can email me when it has been updated. Today is infact 04/15/2014 and this form is still not available even after updating Turbo Tax multiple times.
Never the less I love this product and will definately continue to use it for years to come!

What's great about it: Quick, easy, thorough and well balanced
What's not so great: Allow prior year filings to be migrated from Inuit filings vs filings saved on desktop

This was a hard year for my taxes, but TurboTax gave my return the boost and ease to get every deduction for a super refund. TT made my day, month and Year.!!!
What's great about it: Ease of use is super
What's not so great: Some explanations too short and depreciation for sale of home lacking explanations.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Forty-Five Minutes & Done!

I'm a regular TurboTax user... the product keeps getting better. It's faster and smoother than ever. The guides are great and the explanations are mostly clear and concise.
The state (Wisconsin) tool seems to be a collection of lists of forms, rather than the elegant guides in the federal return part of the program... but this wasn't a serious drawback,
Overall - great product!!
What's great about it: Guides are smoother than ever

So simple just sitting at home

This is my 3rd year using Turbo Tax and it has reduced the stress at tax time. Just collect all the documents and answer the questions. As it checks I wait to hear that term BUT..you need this or that and it continues to the efile process without missing a beat. Each time its been smooth and easy for me.
What's great about it: Step by step process makes it easy
What's not so great: Haven't found any major concerns

Doing taxes couldn't be easier! I highly recommend Turbo Tax to anyone. It's user friendly and guides you step by step.
