Easy

very easy and even found me extra deductions. This version made everything faster, especially filing.
What's great about it: Easier than before

I still feel like I need to go to get someone to review
it and help me as I could not get back to something that would have been an deduction. I also was not sure that something was in the correct place but put it where you said.

My husband used Turbo tax so I did but he died and now I am trying to do it. I guess we will see.
What's great about it: Forms all in one place faster than looking and checking here and there
What's not so great: I saw things once that I needed then could not find them again

Could be so much better

This 1040 Itemized was being filed by a worker in the transportation industry. There are very specific rules that have to be followed so that I can claim thousands of dollars in deductions and the TurboTax Deluxe provided absolutely no guidance. Ultimately, i had to go to a website for the IRS and figure it out on my own and then decipher the work related deductions to make it fit. I really hope there is some other product on the market next year so I don't have to purchase this again.
If your not an employee in the transportation industry than you might find the uncluttered screens with easy to navigate program a breeze compared to the IRS forms.
What's great about it: Really easy to navigate
What's not so great: Completely inadequate support

The Most Helpful Tool for Taxes

For me, being single w/ no kids, a career and a cat I cannot claim, it is by far the most convenient tool making takes easy an less stressful. I have used Turbo Tax for as long as I can remember just for this reason.
What's great about it: Step by Step Guids
What's not so great: I would prefer they didn't archive answers others past questions.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Extremely disappointed!

I have used TurboTax for several years and this is the worst year yet. It did not prompt you to import your files. The questioning sequence was awkward and you can no longer double click on the numbers and it take you to the forms. The print option will not print and will only let you preview. Overall this product is degrading and becoming less user friendly over the last couple of years. Extremely disappointing!
What's great about it: Allowed me to file electronically.
What's not so great: Not user friendly anymore!
