Great Product

only down side is the extra charge for filing the state return electronically, even with the 'free' state that comes with the higher version.

Everyone should have to do their own taxes; the outcry would be terrible and the IRS and the Federal Government would be forced to simplify this mess.
What's great about it: Makes an abysmal task almost bearable
What's not so great: Workflow forces too much repetition
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. No easier, faster self guided process for dealing with taxes. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Turbo Tax to my friends without worry that they will be disappointed.
What's great about it: Questions are focused to gather information. Also appreciated the information on needed forms/paperwork.

Easy & quick does all the work

I have use Turbo tax for 5+ years and each year it get easier and fastr.
What's great about it: All I had to do was answer the questions and enter the data
What's not so great: The only problems I had were the ones I caused program caught and helped me fix them

I have used TurboTax for many years and I believe it does a great job for us.
What's great about it: Very good program. Easy to follow.
What's not so great: Dealing with state SALES tax was somewhat difficult. I entered one item and had difficulty entering a second one later.

I have used Turbo Tax since 1990's and I am only confused by the tax law changes, not the way Turbo Tax asks the necessary questions
What's great about it: Easy to understand requirements
What's not so great: This year no complaints

Couldn't e-file

It said I need to download updates which I did 3 times but it still couldn't validate my federal return to be able to e-file it. Now it won't be postmarked by April 15 because the post office is closed.
Fortunately I was able to e-file my state return, especially since I had already paid for it.
What's great about it: walked me through it all.
What's not so great: Would not let me e-file. Validation didn't work.

Easy to use for the most part

Easy to use for the most part.
There are a few areas that I had to review more than once, mostly to be sure that I was answering correctly and not missing anything.
Overall, a very helpful program.
I do not understand why there is such a large charge for the efiling of the state tax form though.
Someone I know uses another program that does not charge near as much, and the program is free. :(

What's great about it: step by step instructions are broken down and mostly easy to follow
What's not so great: cost to file state refund is higher than other programs; don't understand why there is any charge for efile of state tax
