I was shocked and outraged at the amount charged by a third party service provider. What services are they providing for the amount that was charged to process a credit card payment? They are incurring no risk; my credit card company is assuming all the risk. Is there no more reasonable third party available? Because the cost is so high for e-filing, I will never again use that service.
What's great about it: Good product, ease of use
What's not so great: Filing Process Fees

If none of these -- then should be a bullet - mutually exclusive rather than a check box which can be combined with other choices

What's great about it: Seems thorough
What's not so great: easy to miss None of these check boxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

2013 FILING EXPERIENCE

Overall, this was a good experience. I was not able to transfer information from my 2012 return this year. However, it was easy to enter the information manually. I took the opportunity to refresh myself of changes to tax laws.
What's great about it: Quick references to tax laws and choices for getting through return
What's not so great: Recommendation to update to premier was not warranted

We used an accountant for years and we are very organized so we tried Turbo tax and saved money. The software is really easy to use and I like the encouragement along the way with the tips and suggestions.
What's great about it: User friendly, guides you very well/

Great to use, as always

I've used TT for years. My only problem this year (which I haven't had in years past) is that I started my return under a general use profile which lacks admin privileges. I couldn't simply enter the admin password when it came time to update TT, I had to switch users and update under the admin profile, which I've never needed to do before.
What's great about it: Advise community is useful
What's not so great: e-filing fee for my state is too high (and it's not all charged by GA)
