PRO: toggle between forms and stepbystep views helps understand some
CON: Sometimes had think how to get back to a certain page that needed editing, so you have to back up yeah far, then revisit multiple steps. That's when toggling to forms page helps.

Great Tax Return Helper

Over these past 9 Years of using Turbo Tax, the "directions" inside the program appear to be getting easier to understand and follow.
What's great about it: Easy to Read and Follow, and incentive for better Tax Input Records organization
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Got It Done

Solid product again. A little more interaction/ inter access between the program and IRS publications and forms. Sometimes at the most complex parts Turbo Tax just doesn't have it all there. Understandable. However being able to launch directly into the pertinent IRS instruction, form or publication would save time.
What's great about it: Easy movement between forms and guided questions.
What's not so great: I'd like to have IRS publications a little closer at hand. You have to make too many clicks out.

Problems with state returns

Could not go directly to forms to correct errors on state return. Will not use for state returns in the future.

Filing as Widow Confusing

Normally TurboTax is awesome, easy to follow. However, in trying to determine whether to file joint or individual after my husband passing away, there was not much guidance there. I spent hours doing my return, then his and then finding out afterward that we had to file joint in order to efile for him. Yikes!
What's great about it: Very good guidance
What's not so great: Lack of info for filing for a deceased spouse.

you must fix your update system

You cannot require people to have to delete files to update the software. Fix it already. Two years in a row I've had to drill into my computer applications preferences and delete files just to apply the updates. FIX IT!!!
