Turbo Tax 2013

Candy was very helpful. I waited till the 15th to do my taxes. Normally, I buy the software but with a snowstorm here in NY I decided to do it online. I was through the income section and plugging along when your system kicked me off. It said I had not used it in 20 minutes. That was not true. I was entering answers as they came up. Anyway, it said "don't worry, we saved all your info" It did not save anything other then my personal information. I went through your computer system looking for a phone number, was not happy that i had to answer more computer questions when all i wanted was a phone number to a real live person.
I finally get the phone number and am on hold for 40 minutes i think... I continued to reenter my tax info.
Then Candy answered and had to do a lot of work to get this going correctly with the computer and then she went the extra mile and tried to help with a deduction question. She was very, very nice and helped me to calm down in a stress filled situation.
I thought the past years were a little easier to use, especially the state form. I was not able to look up my school district code for NY. I found it by other means.
I do like your product very much but like all things it can be better. However, my service from Candy was all I could hope for. Thank you very much.

What's great about it: I had to speak to a representative, your system screwed up but she "Candy" was incredibly helpful and patient.
What's not so great: The state did not show the whole document this year.

Been using the product since it came out, the only way to go.
What's great about it: Easy,hard to mess up
What's not so great: A little harder to go back a couple of steps.

A little confusing this year

As usual, TurboTax was easy to fill out and file. Unfortunately, when I got to the end of the return, the listed tax payments did not add up. There ended up being an apparent difference between my tax liability and the listed amount of my tax payments of $1500. I had to go through the individual forms to determine that the $2500 education credit only resulted in a $1000 deduction in my tax liability. The review showed that my tax payments plus the education credit was $1500 more than the amount actually credited towards my tax liability. This took me an hour or so to sort out, although in the end I was able to determine that this was correct. In the future, it would be more helpful if the final review shows the amount of the credit that is actually allowed to be credited toward the tax bill.
What's great about it: Accurate return, easy to complete, easy to file
What's not so great: Education credit not explained (re: difference between credit and deduction)

THE EXTRAS YOU ARE TRYING TO SELL SHOULD BE IN A LIST AND LET US HAVE A CHOISE ABOUT WHAT NASHVILLE TO CHOOSE.

Get your money back fast

An easy, fool proof way to do your taxes year after year and with a way to check ways you may be audited if you don't do things right. Also a easy way to keep your tax records year after year. When using Quicken thru out the year, it makes TurboTax even easier to use and has a track for you to run on. I've used TurboTax for years and it hasn't let me down yet. I highly recommend using TurboTax.
What's great about it: Ease of doing taxes
What's not so great: Couldn't delete what deductions you don't have
