Makes tax time much less painful

As usual, TurboTax grabs you by the hand and drags you through the swamp that is our tax system. It does this in a logical, methodical manner so you don't have to know what you are doing, yet gives you the option to skip around if you do know (or think you know) what you are doing. If it uses a term or offers an option you might not understand, help is available. The brief help was enough for me; more in depth help appears to be available but I did not need to use it, so can't comment on how useful it is.
My only complaint was I bought this early, but when I started it up, it did NOT check for any updates. I thought that was odd, but historically they know what they are doing, so I didn't sweat it. Imagine my surprise, when after entering all my information and making all the selections, THEN they checked for updates. Really? Fortunately, it appears that none of the updates invalidated what I had done, but it could have, which would have been very annoying.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, logical, decent help
What's not so great: Really? Don't check for updates until all info is entered?

What's great about it: Easy to use,all documents in one place,.great guides, even I can understand!
What's not so great: None

A Wonderful Way to Do Taxes

I really enjoy how easy Turbo Tax makes it to file your taxes. They lead you in the right direction if you ever get confused. I think there is less preparation with Turbo Tax, than when I had an accountant do my taxes.

Fastest program ever. Less than 2 hours. If I hadn't spent time searching for documents it would have been an hour or less.

What's great about it: The navigation is Dummy Proof
What's not so great: General Distributions didn't work for NJ so I checked none.

Turbo Taxed me to last minute finale

with the aide of Turbo tax, set out to finish my return by April 15th, the two of us come through with flying colors, ended up paying less than I thought, with Turbo taxes. Very grateful for this program, have used it for years and will use it next year, with a recommendation to my peers.

What's great about it: Able to wrap up my tax return in no time and send it off on the April 15th
What's not so great: Turbo tax did not automatically check for updates to tax law, I had to do it manually
