Have a small business (sole proprietor). Tried home & business last year & this year went back to deluxe. Home & business more for businesses with larger bottom lines. Mine only $20,000-$25,000 with minimal expenses. The home & business not worth the extra expense.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Did not catch error until ready to submit returns

Always the best to use!

Always feel confident that we're getting the most deductions possible when using turbo tax. Has everything you need for donations, medical expenses, etc. Just feel very confident and pleased with turbotax!
What's great about it: Quick, easy, has everything you need

What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: had difficulty bringing forward my state tax payment
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax 2013

I like to go through each area thoroughly. My information transfers smoothly and it only takes a few minutes to actually enter the information you have gathered and complete the tax information. Even with kids, itemized deductions and other details, I still finished my taxes in less than 4 hours.
At the end of each section, you have to scroll all the way to the bottom which is out of sight, in order to continue. I would love to see a button at the top as well for this option. I already have each area reviewed with me so I do not miss anything for income, exemptions and deductions.
What's great about it: Quick, easy to follow, and accurate.
What's not so great: Detail button

I have been using Turbo Tax for personal returns and Business returns for over twenty years. NEVER EVER had a problem!
