Very good program. However, there are some usage item that could be improved on, such as needing to reenter some answers when returning to screens that were already input. This only happens in one part of the program, but doesn't happen in most other parts.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: The Free State Tax E-File with each copy of TurboTax isn't clear, even in the forum.

Turbo Tax is great. Anyone can use it. I have used it for 15 years to do my taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Great easy to use!
What's not so great: Validation problems..had to close it all down, and restart the computer to transmit the data.

Features and benefits are easy to use for the casual user. The price was considerably less expensive than other tax preparers.

In the Step-by-step summary, it showed the combined taxable & non-taxable dividend as Ordinary dividends. But on the tax-exempt line showed "0".
What's great about it: Good layout & fast
What's not so great: Did not show Tax-exempt amount on Step-by-step

I think the ability to compare as needed the current value with last years value would be great. not just at review but on the page where entry is done. Also, I did not get asked if I moved and I did. Trying to calculate the house profit or loss had to be done outside of TTax. The ability to add several numbers to get to a total to put on a given line within TTax would be great too.
What's great about it: seems accurate
What's not so great: guide skips subjects for no apparent reason

Love the program, but HATE ______

This year installing the new software, deactivated previous years. I was told this was to prevent ppl from enter info onto the wrong year. BUT, it makes it impossible to check back on a previous year's entry. YES, I have a pdf of the old returns saved, but the PDF doesn't show me how I got the numbers that are seen there.
I consider this a HUGE MISTAKE.

I have been utilizing Turbo Tax for over 10 years. Outstanding product.....will continue using for the foreseeable future!!!!
