Turbo Tax Rocks

Saved me lots of time. Really like comparing last years info as you go. Easy to come back to where you left off after days.
What's great about it: Step by step help
What's not so great: Some parts are difficult to go bck to to change info

Makes it easy

Overall I love using Turbo Tax. I used tro pay an accountant until a friend and co-worker told me about Turbo Tax. I realized the accountant wouldn't be able to do my returns if I didn't gather all the necessary info and documents needed. So I decided to try it and I've been using it since. The last time I paid to get my taxes done was probably 25+ years ago. And the refunds are as good if not better. I feel safe using this product.
What's great about it: With Turbo Tax anyone can manage to do their own tax return.
What's not so great: I've hit a couple walls where there is only 2 options and neither fits

I really wish that the there was an international travel expense section specifically for educators.
What's great about it: fairly simple until checkout process.

Convenient, simple

Overall it is great that you can e-file right after, and have options for more than one state to file besides the federal forms.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and do the return
What's not so great: No way of knowing how far along one is in the application while doing it. I would recommend adding a bar.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simpl, easy even a monthly payment plan

I had a very complex tax return this year due to self employment and then more than one employer. Turbo Tax answered a my questions as I worked on each section. I still owe taxes, which is my fault, but I am very confident I will pay the minimum possible
What's great about it: Extremely easy to step me through a very difficult year
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Painlee 2013 Tax Return

I have used Turbo Tax for about 10 years. The company keeps up with Federal law changes.Saves me time and helps keep my cool at the end of tax season. p.s. I buy the program from the store so as to have the original.

Last year, and previous years, TurboTax charged me for a second state return, even though I live in NH, where there is no state income tax. I work partly in Mass, and file a non-resident return (taxation without representation is tyranny)! This year, the TT software advised me to start the non-resident return first, which I did, and I used the state return included with Deluxe for Mass.
What's great about it: TT finally got Mass Non-Resident right, without charging NH residents for a second state return.
What's not so great: None.
