Could've had five stars, but...

I have used TurboTax since 2001 and have loved it. This year, however, it was harder to find crucial information. And it did not catch that it needed more info about a business expense until after I had already put in all of the info to efile and had printed all of the zillion pages. Those had to go into the shredder so I could print a good copy again.
What's great about it: Generally leads through the process with no problems
What's not so great: Did not catch a problem with returns until after I had printed everything

No Turbulance with Turbo

THE SOFT WARE WOULD NOT PUT THE CORRECT AMOUNT IN FOR MY TAX WITHHELD FOR THE STATE. I AND THREE OTHERS GOT THE SAME AMOUNT FOR LINE "17" FROM TWO "W2'S" AND IT ADDED UP SOME LESSER VALUE.
What's great about it: It was fantastic for my Federal Taxes
What's not so great: WILL NEVER USE IT FOR STATE TAXES, AGAIN

Turbo Tax 2013

This is a great program. Very user friendly.
What's great about it: Simple, easy to follow. Spoon feeds you on complicated issues.
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Amazing Turbotax

TurboTax allowed me to complete my taxes in one evening, without any hassles and being nice in the process. Handled hassles well, commented on areas that needed attention, made good suggestions.
What's great about it: Easy to use, asked the right questions
What's not so great: None that I have noted

Our experience this year was like previous years: awesome. Easy to use. The layout is much better too.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, like 1, 2, 3
What's not so great: Need to clarify: (1) auto personal property taxes and (2) children who serve church missions

This year I compared TurboTax against the H&R Block software, and found that I liked TurboTax a lot more because it did a better job of guiding me through the process step by step. If I tried to remember everything on my own, I'm sure I would have forgotten at least one or two items.
What's great about it: step by step easy
