Excellent Product, It has improved steadily over the years and navigation has become easier. I would highly recommend this to anyone including people that will still use a CPA or service. It allows you to see various tax implications, understand the process better and organize your information which will make it easier for your accountant.
What's great about it: Easy, accurate, capable of making changes to see tax implications.
What's not so great: None

Not really impressed this year!

I've used Turbo Tax software for the past 4 tax seasons and have been very pleased...until now. Filing my taxes has always been a pretty cut and dry situation that I could complete in a couple of hours.
This time I had to do some special research in order to properly fill out the HSA questions. This delayed my filing process by 3 stressful days of trying not to have to guess the proper amounts to put in the proper boxes.
I've always felt confident in the tax prep I've submitted to the IRS...until now!

What's great about it: Overall, still a pretty straight forward program

Taxes done quickly

Please move the updates and additional or revised federal forms back to the beginning, when loading the program on the computer.
I had to go back and check all my numbers, some of which changed, when I updated the program and added 1 more federal form at the end.
I am a long-term Turbo Tax user, and I do appreciate all the features of the program.
I will be back next year.

What's great about it: Easy program to use year after year
What's not so great: This year, the program update and new form came at the end. I like them much better at the beginning of loading.

why did you seem to miss

It was a good thing I couldn't seem to download the 'UPDATED FORMS" AS i HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO MORE CLOSELY REVIEW THAT WHICH HAD BEEN TRANSPORTED BY TURBOTAX. You missed two entries of tax withheld ( a total of $1249) . Luckily I caught them and corrected the input.
What's great about it: most items followed previous years
What's not so great: it was hard as the devil to finally get forms updated, you completely missed two 1099 taxes withheld

Got a REFUND!!

I'm a busy housewife and always running around with more than I can juggle. My husband doesn't have steady hours, so making an appointment and sit to do taxes --HUGE FUSS!
TurboTax made it all so easy for us all!! And we actually got a REFUND this year after always having to pay every year.
What's great about it: Super EASY and CONVENIENT!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

Looking for Easy

Overall I liked the straightforwardness of Turbotax. It made it easy to understand and answer most questions. Also made me feel confident that they were checking over everything. The questions for a student claimed as a dependent were confusing as well as the questions about education. I felt as though I needed an accountant to explain some of it!
What's great about it: I liked how it broke it down step by step
What's not so great: Clarify addt'l cost to file state. Simplify 'student' questions also claimed as dependents.
