Excellent Program but needs some work

It is a definitely good income tax program. I would add options to get previous year income tax form IRS or at least be able to get all information through scanning documents.

I hate tax time!

Love the ease of use, detailed information makes filing easy. Since switching to TurboTax we do the same as far as returns year after year without the high fee's a preparer charges. The one issue....window 8.1 made this years taxes a nightmare. Apparently even TurboTax cant stay compatible with this and we needed 2 days and multiple visits to troubleshooting before we got all the files to work without freezing up or shutting down. Never experienced this before.....hope I don't ever again or we may need to go back to a costly preparer.
What's great about it: comfort of home, inexpensive, simple
What's not so great: problems with windows 8.1 and Turbotax not working properly

Then to delete the Worksheet form I had to go to Forms and not Tools as the 'Help Center' suggested.

I've used TurboTax for years. I cannot understand why people pay tax attorneys buckets of money to do something they can do themselves. The program is easy to understand and navigate, and it covers everything...even stuff you might not have thought of.
What's great about it: Easy to understand and navigate through the governmental jargon. Felt confident of the accuracy of my return

Turbo Tax Software does taxes.

Would have been worth the money if filing with state was also free.
What's great about it: Calculated my taxes.
What's not so great: Have a help page explaining each way of filing, prior to selecting way of filing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
