used for the last 6 years, overall very satisfied....
What's great about it: liked thestep by step walk through
What's not so great: every year the clergy housing allowance does not get put in correctly until the very end...error check.

Time saver

Turbo Tax saved me a lot of time this year over preparing it manually last year. A major deficiency for me was that there was no provision to adjust SE Tax and Business Expenses for the ratio of taxable vs tax exempt income for retired clergy.
What's great about it: Overall quality control, easy, decent help available
What's not so great: Can't get a snapshot of progress to date

This is the 3rd year I have used Turbo Tax and it works as advertised. Since I no longer own a business I didn't need the services (or expense) of a CPA. I would definitely recommend Turbo Tax
What's great about it: ease of use, clear and concise
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's not so great: COULD GET ANSWER OF SIMPLE QUESTION OF HOW DID I PAY TAXES OWED . UNABLE TO VERIFY OR SWITCH PRIOR TO FINALIZATION OF

Turbo Tax is like an old friend

I must admit that I have tried several different options of filing my tax returns, but Turbo Tax is just like an old dependable friend. The electronic walk through is simply, even for folks that are not comfortable in the digital age. (However, I am) Turbo Tax allows for easily accessible options with step-by-step instructions that almost seems as if you are an individual client rather than just another Federal Tax Number. Additionally, if I feel uneasy about any particular item on my return, Turbo Tax offers additional support and several options as to how you would like to gain this support. All in all, I feel that Turbo Tax is trustworthy software with a user friendly interface. The only drawback to your product...and I had to think on this one... is that you do not make it absolutely clear before the purchase that the state form will cost additional money to file. I knew this was the case, using Turbo Tax before; however I feel that it is only just for your company to make this information VERY clear before purchase. Thank You Turbo Tax Team for making tax time much less daunting. Sincerely, Leitspeed

Gets the job done! Quicker this year.

This year seemed quicker than past years!
I worry that if I click on something because I am not sure if that feature applies to me or not that it generates a form whether I actually end up qualifying or not.

What's not so great: Some questions are confusing, not always sure if I qualify for a thing or not, worry I miss something.

Users have to go online into forums to figure out how to successfully install required updates before you can file. Ridiculous.
