i've been using turbo tax since 2008. that's 7 years that i have been using the deluxe program because i own a home and have itemized deductions. if you're afraid of using unfamiliar software programs.....don't be. it's simple. when you efile your taxes you'll feel like you really accomplished something.
What's great about it: easy
What's not so great: should get more than 1 state efile
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for about 20 years. This edition I liked the least. Too often I had to go to the forms because otherwise I could not enter data such as sales tax even though I had a $3500 deduction for sales tax on a new car alone. Help not always available.
What's great about it: got it done
What's not so great: took too long and some questions not clear and help not available

by putting my 1099R info into the W-2 forms. Then I have to go back and erase it and start over.Other than that I usually end up, taking the standard deductions and wishing that I had just

Turbo Tax is easy to us and covers every area I need to have covered. I also like to have the ability to go back and recheck all my entered data. E-File is also very convenient and direct deposit seals the deal for me, all at a great price.

I love the speed and ease of use with turbotax. Everything is well laid out and very easy to follow. Love it.
What's great about it: easy to understand and follow
What's not so great: HSA info is always a little murky.

Love the Confidence with Taxes

I love the feeling of being as complete and accurate as I can be without going through the hassle of going through Tax Classes and not having to spend the high cost is getting the taxes done by a so called "Tax Professional. TurboTax is the True Professional and I wont ever use anything esle.
What's great about it: There are no Cons to using TurboTax
