Another successful/satisfied year

Very satisfied with TuboTax. I have never tried other products. TT is SO thorough and ItsDeductible is great add-on! I feel very confident my taxes are done right. Imports from year to year makes getting started each year much faster and the year to year comparisions are a HUGE help.
I was very frustrated I had to pay to file my state return as the Deluxe version "includes" one state return. Next year will be the first time I will be shopping/comparing other products.
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: Deluxe includes "free" state but you charged for filing state?
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbotax for almost ten years and have been very happy. This year I discovered my 1099 R income has been recorded as W 2 income and after several contacts with support the issue remains unresolved.
Very disappointed this year.
What's great about it: Simple straight forward
What's not so great: Turbotax placed information on the wrong line on form 1040

Turbo-Tax -- Excellent Program

Excellent program. I did experience one problem with it misplacing one item.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: Very unhappy with the credit card processing fee.

Torbo Tax is wonderful

This is the first year something did not work on Turbo Tax. NFC is on their list as a participating employer for importing W2. I have used import feature successfully in the past with NFC. This year, TT did not recognize NFC and took me to fillable screen without offering an opportunity to import.
What's great about it: Takes a lot of the pain out of doing a long form 1040
What's not so great: Trouble this year importing W2

QUICK AND EASY

COULD NOT DO TAXES AHEAD THIS YEAR. HAD TO DO AT THE VERY END OF TAX DATE 4/14/2014 SO GLAD TO HAVE TURBO TAX EVEN IF WE HAD TO PAY THIS YEAR. MADE IT A LITTLE LESS STRESSFULL.... WE USE TURBO EVERY YEAR AND WILL NEXT YEAR ALSO....
What's great about it: CAN GO BACK AND FORTH INTO FILES
What's not so great: AT THE END A BIT CONFUSING ON PAYMENT STATUS

Poor excuse for a service

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and swore after last year I would not use it again. I was offered a free use (just pay for the state) from another family member so tried it again. Far too vague in the information offered. I spent way too much time looking for answers to common questions and still don't understand half of what went on. I feel I missed deductions and am paying too much as a result. I have very little confidence in Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: I can do my taxes in my shorts
What's not so great: Only one pro
