Brain Dead

Jeez! I've been using Turbo Tax for years and I hated this years experience. What MBA Harvard "Darling" changed the interface. Obviously, the "darling" used his/her daddy to help with his/her return.
It's is darling difficult to move around in the application, open an individual form, figure out how to save a pdf of the return without printing 27 pages.
Find the "Darlings" the redesigned the interface and fire them and return Turbo Tax to a format so that users can USE the application without the silly interfaces
What's great about it: GRRRRR!

I really like TT's ability to import previous year's data. The interview option is clear and precise. The review/audit alert function will always be a +++ for anyone.
What's great about it: Great importing of previous year entered data and accuracy has always been on point.
What's not so great: Non that affect the completion and submission

Second State a Bust

I was very happy with Turbo Tax until I got to my second state return. None of my information was transferred to it, including basics like my demographic information. Instructions for filling out the forms were sketchy at best and I'm filing for an extension because I'm not comfortable with the results. I have used other tax preparation software in the past, and I found TT less intuitive in navigating between returns. For instance, if I needed information from the Federal return to populate a line in the State.
What's great about it: Federal and First State return were great
What's not so great: Second state return was a disaster

A few improvements needed

Some subjects need better explanations. Specifically, info pertaining to early withdrawal of "retirement" funds was a little less than clear. I had to click through a lot of Help links to gain enough detail to understand the topic.
My returns are not complicated, so I don't know how much this lack of detail might affect
What's great about it: Overall, seems to be what I expect from TurboTax Deluxe
What's not so great: Needs better explanations

When I want to print the entire tax package, I usually don't want to review 25+ pages. I want to go directly to print. Please along a "Print" option direct from your page rather than making use go to adobe to print it.
What's not so great: Need to give a print button along with the review printable forms

Accurate

I have been using it for years. It has been very thorough and accurate even if I had to pay taxes. Wife did not believe I was utilizing all avenues so went to an accountant to consult but no difference, still had to pay.
Thank you for a good product.
