Not sure calculated everything correctly

I am under the understanding that as long as I paid at least my 2012 taxes as an estimated tax payment by Jan 15, 2014 I would not owe a penalty for underpayment of taxes. But TurboTax decided that because I had not paid them in equal installment throughout the year, I owed a penalty. This is despite no "penalty owed" box was checked on form 2210.
Only 16 bucks, so not worth arguing, but I switched from another tax preparation program specifically because of this. Disappointed to see that TurboTax has fallen victim, too.

What's not so great: Not sure about this year

Turbo Tax

I personally would be lost without Turbo Tax. It is the only way to do taxes. My only complaint is that you can't alphabetize the list which makes it very hard to locate previous charities.
What's great about it: Takes the math out of filing taxes
What's not so great: Unable to alphabetize deductions or expenses.

Taxes Done

This was a very time consuming process but well worth it. I'm getting a larger refund this year than ever before. The questions were better phrased this year. There were no questions that could be answered both yes and no, as in last year's program. There should be something at the beginning to remind the user to immediately download any updates. I didn't and couldn't figure out why I was having difficulty with one form. Also, I couldn't figure out how to get back to the beginning with all the sections listed.
What's great about it: This version was easier to use this year
What's not so great: I didn't know how to get back to the summary page without going through a whole section
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Self Prepared So Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax since the mid 1990's. Only once did I deviate to a competitors tax prep program, what a mistake I made.

This year the Turbo tax was much faster! Loved it!

Expectations of Easy as Pie

I count on TurboTax to get me from year-to-year without too much trouble, and that is usually the case. But, any changes from the previous year always seem to make for a bumpy transition. This was one of those years. Expected to be in and out in 1-2 hours, took 4.
What's great about it: Familiar format and lots of help if needed.
What's not so great: Suplemental form 8949 gave me fits.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments
