Could not e file my return

Software repeatedly told me to update the software in order to complete e-file. I repeatedly updated the software and it never worked. Had to file by mail.

If you are in a civil Union this still makes you jump through hoops to create a fake federal to create a state. Also, the constant software updates make it really irritating when you attempt to file 3 times but must download a software update. Not so impressed this year.

first time I had to report a stock sale the 1099 b the box # on the IRS form and the work sheet. did not match not sure I got the right info in the right box
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: Forms and boxes do not always match

BEEN USING FOREVER

I started using Turbo Tax many years ago - not quite sure how long, but at least 15 years. I did my wife's final return after her death, and last year started doing my Mother's with TurboTax. The software FORBIDS and PREVENTS me from making mistakes. Refunds are very quick (Feds must like TurboTax also). I don't hesitate to recommend this to anyone.
What's great about it: Security, completeness, record generation and retention
What's not so great: I lost my original disc for this year's returns

I spoke with Kerry @ TurboTax Help. He helped me very much and was able to answer everything that I was having difficulty with. He was very patient and did not rush me at all, he cared that I got my taxes done correctly.

Overall a good experience. Nothing was too hard minus a few questions I had along the way which were answered by the representative (who was very friendly and helpful).

No Anxiety Return

The program is very easy to use and follow. I finished my taxes very quickly and feel very confident that it was done right.
What's great about it: Easy to use and follow the prompts
What's not so great: Have to buy a new disk every year instead of just updating like all other software programs.
