I got in a loop at the very end. I tried to efile, but could not because of "updates." I installed the updates at the very beginning of the session. I installed again, but could not efile. I did the same thing again. Finally, I decided to close the TT program and open it. That worked. On about the 5th try. I hope they fix this bug. My credit card had already been charged for efiling, but I had not yet efiled. This is a real bug.
What's great about it: Gets better every year
What's not so great: Got stuck in a loop at the very end.

2014 IRS Done!

I liked being able to move information from old returns and ease of use with forms.
The install was easy and error feature was great!
Finally, the review and step by step finish process was worth price paid.
What's great about it: Forms allows me to enter data directly from all tax sources!
What's not so great: Could not do shortcut even though tried several ways???
Pros: I bought or sold investments

It took me less than 5 hours to input all the information and have Turbo Tax complete the Fed and State return. It is so easy to use and I love the fact that you can buy the audit defense coverage.My husband has been audited twice with no penalties BUT the hassle is just not worth the time it takes to show up in person.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes it sooooo easy to complete your tax returns. We used a CPA before TurboTax.

It seems that every year it gets better. I can't imagine what they can do to make it easier, unless we could download electronic W-2s, 1099s, and tax deduction receipts, directly into Turbo. Probably not far away.
What's great about it: Ease of use. Walks you through each step. Offers explanations when needed. Accuracy of calculations. Audit support
What's not so great: I know that better reviews include both pros and cons, but I can't think of any cons.

could be better

this version handled my brokerage statement imports with no problems(I hope!) It imported from last year's TurboTax, saving lots of time.
AMT calculations are not clear, and it ask questions that I could only guess at, because there was little explanation or guidance. This was unsettling.
There were questions about K-1 forms that I again had to guess at, because the statement did not have the info, however, once input, the program apparently filled in all the associated forms.
Wish it had better help.

What's great about it: imports from previous years, and financial institutes.
What's not so great: not clear about AMT, and ask questions about K-1 that are not noted on statements
