Really S**L**O**W to Download

It took an excruciating amount of time to download TurboTax disk onto my computer. I went out for a pit stop and a casual snack and it was still less than 50% downloaded. I almost shut it down because it appeared than nothing was happening. Also took a long time to restart TurboTax on my computer between sessions. Quick otherwise.
The program on disk is much, much better than the downloadable version purchased from the website that I used for the last two years. That version requires you to allow changes practically after each entry. Exceptionally annoying and time consuming. I will never use that version again.
Except for the slow download and startups, this year's tax forms seemed much easier to prepare and file that the many years previously when I used TurboTax

What's great about it: Works better than past years' programs. Much easier to navigate.
What's not so great: Really slow to download from disk. Also took long time to access

Some small problems

Specifically, it is not obvious at first how to enter the local sales tax rate. We did figure it out but that is not the only issue. WA state has business and occupation taxes that customers such as ourselves pay as part of the price of goods and services. So it is a hidden sales tax. I suppose that it is not a direct sales tax but we do pay for it at the retail level. One last item somehow I lost my internet connection to Turbotax and I still have no idea what was wrong but I followed your directions and I then could efile
What's great about it: relatively easy to use
What's not so great: WA state has strange sales tax system not easily dealt with in Turbotax

Great program. Have used for 4 years and have converted several friends to TuboTax.
What's great about it: Easy walk-through is great
What's not so great: Detail explanation and help topics should reference the IRS Pub. # or Form number for more education by user.

LOVE Turbo Tax!

Helped very much. I had to do more research on the tax requirement for an IRA inherited, but everything else was covered. Thanks!
What's great about it: Made sure everything was explained and included step by step!
What's not so great: Somehow the first go through it did not ask for interest or dividend income?

Filing has never been easier

My filing has never been more enjoyable and understanding. TurboTax will now be my way of filing and will encourage everyone I encounter to try it.
