Excellent Program for doing Taxes

Totally worth the money, and the Audit Defense is a great peace of mind. I have been using Turbo Tax for years, and will continue using their programs/ software.
What's great about it: Very comprehensive and Easy to use

Just SO SO. I preferred H&R Block software used past year. But all of these companies are becomming intrusive and demanding of more and more personal information
What's great about it: Prints documents for future reference
What's not so great: VERY cumbersome to go to a specific area. Forms cannot be viewed as you go. Surprise fees at the end.

Turbo Tax Does the Work For You

The tax program asks the questions following an outline of the tax forms, so all I have to do is answer the questions in sequence. Figures are provided from last year's tex returns for comparison.
If I make a mistake sometimes it is corrected for me. The totals are entered by Turbo Tax, eliminating math.

Get it all back the easy way!!

Overall this is a great solution. We have been using since the mid-2000's and we have always gotten our taxes done in a timely manner with minimal fuss. Highly recommend this tool for your personal and business taxes.
What's great about it: Consisten format, quick answers, easy uploads, all in one solution
What's not so great: AS our returns become more complicated, it takes time to navigate the additional areas.

A 27-Yr TurboTax Veteran Still Loves It!

I have been using TurboTax and nothing else since the late 1980's when it was owned by Chipsoft (I still have the boxes).
It has continued to present a complete tax solution making it easy for a non-accountant person to prepare and file their federal and state taxes both easily and accurately. For many of those years I had the complexity of dealing with a small business plus a farm plus multi-state environments.
Not even once in my 27 years have I had even one problem with the IRS, and I think that's remarkable!
TurboTax... WELL DONE and I do really appreciate It!
What's great about it: Dual Path Approach - Be led by Q&A session or navigate yourself thru the forms or both!
What's not so great: Intuit doesn't pay you to use it :-# ... #But there is "TurboTax Free" for certain taxpayers)

Solid Product

I suggest more comprehensive MLP section that gives the tax filer the opportunity to actually learn the ins and outs of the investments nuances which are difficult for many to penetrate. Many are ignorant and some would like to learn what all the entries mean and how it impacts their taxes which is an important component of their investing thesis.
What's great about it: Overall smooth experience
What's not so great: Bugs related to MLPs that make electronic filing impossible.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax Helps Keep My Sanity

Prior to using Turbo Tax, every year tax time was a major hassle. Now, it is only a minor bump in the road. Each year, Turbo Tax seems to improve, making my job easier.
What's great about it: Does the heavy lifting, saves time and reading of complicated tax manuals.
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find places where I wanted to make corrections.
