Turbo Tax works, I have used other software and this is easier to comprehend. Either efile both or mail both, other wise, this software will tick you off.
What's great about it: Clear and concise screen, easy to read.
What's not so great: too much lawyer speak

I found TurboTax 2013 easy to use and went through all my options for filing my taxes. It's just I had to do them myself which is a small price to pay.

More difficult to use every year!

Every year the program's programmed steps make it more difficult and time consuming to enter information for the knowledgeable preparer. Instructions for entering exceptions and vague at best and entry paths difficult to find. The constant attempts to sell extra services and upgrades are nothing short of maddening. If the user answers NO once, the program should remember the answer and quit the repetitive solicitations. The help function should be expanded to explain how to enter exceptions.
What's great about it: Appears accurate
What's not so great: Difficult to enter exceptions, Estimated tax calculator useless!!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Have used TurboTax since 1992 and it continues to amaze with the ease of doing personal, as well business taxes!!
What's great about it: Ease of putting together and entering information.

Business Vehicle

The addition of the calculation sheets made things so much easier for us this year. You did all the work and gave the needed figures. Thanks for making it sooo much simpler than a few years ago where I had to manually type the numbers in and make the right forms appear in the final return.
What's great about it: Thanks for adding the business vehicle calculation sheets.
What's not so great: Have your program recognize company vehicle entry from the W2.

Last year we bought H & R because of price it wasn't near as easy to maneuver and didn't compare to how easy Turbo tax is. Just wish they compared in price

Another Tax Year Down

I have used TurboTax for many years and am a big fan of the product and routinely recommend to others. However this year I felt the product was not as programatically clean as in years past. It was not as intutitive when using the walk through all feature and I had to go back and manually review and update sections that were not covered properly. I had to due a manual review and update to ensure forms were completed correctly. Not what I expected to have to do from TurboTax. My confidence in the product was shaken a bit. Looking forward to an improved product in time for next year's filing
What's great about it: Like the complete walk through to ensure all aspect of the return are explored
What's not so great: Seemed a bit "buggie" this year. Info not carrying forward / auto populate and sections were passed over
