I have used your product for several years. What I would like is if you use turbo tax for more than 3 or more years if you could give us a discount on the software. Every year I buy
it cost higher than the prior year. But using your product is easy for those of us that don't want to fill out the paper forms
which is too easy to make errors, I like the fact that your software explains each section as I work in it.

In the written instructions for the State of Pennsylvania 2013 return, there is an instruction " ... along with any required attachments."
Turbo Tax actually knows what attachments should be included, since this is at the end of the tax return process.
Just list those forms by number !! That would be truly helpful.

Nice Review but?

MD State Tax did not accept Standard deductions from Federal. It DID accept itemized figure from Line on Federal Form. I don't know if was just my downloaded program or? After I changed from Standard deduction to Itemized, it worked. I will be using Turbo Tax again next year, as I have been since they came out.
What's great about it: As always great to use turbo tax!
What's not so great: Had problem with MD State Tax!

We no longer pay a tax preparer to do something that we can do ourselves thanks to Turbo Tax

Got it done

I have used TurboTax for many years. Although I have been annoyed by various bugs and omissions over the years, I do think it is improving. Although my return is not that complex, letting TurboTax step me through everything, do the computations and create the forms is the only way I could get this right . I can no longer imagine doing it by hand. This year and last I got my entire return done in a day despite missing various documents and having to retrieve or reconstruct them. Being able to save the whole thing in a PDF guards against loss of paper files. The downsides are smaller -- more annoyances than real complaints. For example, sometimes TurboTax refuses to take me back to a screen I used previously and I have to hunt around for a way to get there. On the whole I am positive about TurboTax; I recommend it to anyone who complains to me about doing their taxes.
What's great about it: Helps me be complete; saves lots of time
What's not so great: Error fixing completely unclear; certain instructions missing

Quick & Easy

I goofed when going thru the first time concerning foreign accounts and after correcting the error during review it continued to request a foreign country and would not let me e-file. I needed to delete and enter again.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Seems to be one glitch
