Detailed Money Saver

Have been using TurboTax for couple of years and get refund more often--saves hundreds of $$$
What's great about it: User Friendly
What's not so great: Some subjects need more explaination/use common words
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

this program works perfectly and gives the best results. I tried another company's program because it was cheaper and that is exactly what I got a cheap worthless program that was very hard to use, gave worse results, and wouldn't let me go back to make corrections. turbotax is the best

Improvements needed

A couple of things:
First, the "Import" screens for W2 information are unclear and confusing. I spent a day trying to figure out why I couldn't import my W2s; it turned out that I needed to have a "box d" entry, and my employer had not included that on my W2. I therefore had to punch in my W2 information [as I have done in past years], but at first it looked like I could avoid that, and I couldn't. Very frustrating.
Second, I always print my forms, and the path to printing is not obvious. You are first asked to decide what set of forms you want, then you get a .pdf form on the screen, and then you have to find the little print icon within that form. Unclear and frustrating!

Extremely Easy to Use

We used Turbo Tax for several years and find it easy to use. We would recommend it to all those folks paying a tax preparer to complete their tax filings to try it out. The only risk you have is the cost of the software if its too difficult, you can still bring it to a tax preparer. You'll know which is the right choice for you for years to come.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is easy to use and saves quite a bit over the cost of having a tax preparer complete your taxes.

Outstanding Product Even on MAC

I have been using turbotax for over 10 years. Never let me down. I have switched to the MAC and it is just as easy. Wish all software was this reliable and easy!

Another year with a refund!

TurboTax makes it easy to file taxes. I can't imagine using any other service!
What's great about it: Easy to use. It took all of 30 minutes
