Lost data

Due to a hard drive failure I lost most prior years copies of TurboTax BUT my PDF files were salvaged. Years of data had been transferring each time, but not this year. There doesnt seem to be a way to access it into TT anymore. TurboTax needs to develop strategies for such tragedies.

Good but not perfect

Makes life so much easier, can't imagine doing taxes any other way. Reminds me of things I've forgotten. Gets easier after doing it a few years as sometimes it's important How you enter things and in what ORDER. Nice having state return integrated.
What's great about it: So easy to follow, and picking up last year(s) data is great.
What's not so great: Not intuitive on saving stock sales info when quitting in middle of entries

I have used turbo tax for years and never before checked its accuracy. From now on I will.
What's not so great: Turbo tax made an error of $54 on the amount of tax due on the Federal forms

I've been using TurboTax since 1999 and it keeps getting just a little better every year. They ask all of the right questions and make sure you don't miss anything (I did my Mother's taxes this year using TurboTax and we found things that a tax professional missed last year). A big plus is that you can import the previous year's saved return which will save you a great deal of time re-entering info that you already did the previous year. I completed my itemized fed and state taxes all the way through e-filing in about an hour. Its great, try it.
What's great about it: So very fast
What's not so great: Hmmm. Can't find any

Easy-peezy

My only concern was that the process was so simple and easy, that it seemed that I must be missing something!
What's great about it: Intuitive, provides additional information, only if needed, without "clutter"
What's not so great: There should be a method for alphabetizing charitable contributions and modifying addresses from prior return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes Done Right - Right Away

All in all, it was a positive experience. I've often recommended TT to friends and family. Following this years experience, i will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Explanations and anticipated questions are getting easier to understand every year.
What's not so great: During review simple information that should have been asked earlier, was asked.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax makes it easy to quickly file your tax return. The interactive walk-thru design allows you to quickly figure if you owe or receiving a refund. Love It!!
What's great about it: Quick easy to use
What's not so great: None

Full Circle

Makes life easier using this program! There were a couple of areas I noted that could have explained what information to provide with a bit more clarity, unfortunately even the Help files were of no benefit. In these cases I went to the "IRS" and utilized their search engine. I still give "TurboTax" an A+++ as always.
What's great about it: Supersonic Efficiency, Accuracy, Ease of Use
What's not so great: Taxes -- need one say more...
