Had a lot of problems figuring out the student education section. Turbo Tax needs to spend more time making this section easier to follow in the step by step instructions.
What's great about it: For the most part, just follow the steps

I've used Turbo Tax several times now, and the familiarity with the software helps make it easier to file my taxes each additional year. The step by step explanations make it easy to understand the various segments of the filing.

Easy to follow process!

I have used Intuit products since the early 90's when they were DOS driven. Over the years TurboTax has allowed me to feel confident that I am submitting a correct form with the most deductions allowed. The process to complete has only gotten easier over time. Two separate times over the years I have brought my taxes to an accountant to review and both have assured me that my TurboTax is correct and as good as they could complete.
What's great about it: Simple to understand instrutions
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to undo certain actions.

Exceptional and Intuitive Program

It works, its step by step, and saved me over $400.00 in preparation fees. I fired my accountant and this program was easy, had good help features and takes you through, step by step.
What's great about it: It is Easy and Intuitive
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbotax for years and have always found it very helpful in preparing my returns - Federal and State. Only issue I have is not being able to print the page I am viewing without having to go into the Forms Listing or Tax Return.
What's great about it: Step by Step Instructions
What's not so great: Cannot print page that I am viewing, have go Forms or Tax return to print

Extremely user friendly!

Have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years as an employee and self-employed. Has always been an extremely user friendly program (even an engineer like me can use this easily).
What's great about it: Explanations
What's not so great: self-employment section a little confusing

electrically sign returns using an Adobe App

Also this option appeared only once and I could not reconsider and go back and return to this option once I "continued" past this point in your process the first time through. My return was really only of modest size and the Adobe software architecture should have been designed to accomodate married filing jointly types of returns requiring more than one signature.
What's great about it: good idea using Adobe App
What's not so great: stated that my file was too big to accomodate both signatures for married TPs

Works For ME...

The step-by-step process seems to be flawless. However, it would be nice to know the break-downs for medical & business expenses before you actually get to that part of filing. It would make preparing for the actual process easier.
What's great about it: Easy to find diductions I would have missed.
What's not so great: Does not seem to be able to open older TurboTax files for retro-review.
