Success Again!

TurboTax is the best tax software I've used. It takes the pain out of entering info, especially when used year after year.
What's great about it: I like the ability to choose what I work on. I have about the same info each year, so I can go right there.
What's not so great: I don't get enough info in the "Continue... Return" dialog box to tell which of serveral copies is which.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Very happy with the software. Easy to use, nice walk thru and easy to go back and make changes. Well worth the money! THANX INTUIT

Will not use turbo tax again after 20 years. When filling my son's individual tax return the question that was asked was "can you be claimed on someone elses return" it was marked Yes yet it generated a deduction, whch when we filed our family taxes rejected our return. Now a amended return must be filed.
What's not so great: i had claimed my son as a depedent yet it calculated his tax return incorrectly which caused a ameneded return to be fil

Less than five hours from Download to Done!

I had a moderately complicated return with a layoff, 401k distribution/rollover, home mortgage interest, child deductions, donations, etc.
I downloaded Turbotax and thought I was looking at about ten hours of work, but thanks to the quick and intuitive interface I had my transaction data uploaded and reviewed and had my returns e-filed before I knew it.
Turbotax is about the only thing I can look forward to when tax time comes around.
What's great about it: Ease of use, guided preparation, easy help tools
What's not so great: None!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Don't know the problem but when I got to the state part ir would say nearly finished then click and it would start all over again on our taxes. We had to manually choose the option to make it go past this point. We did our daughters and it went through the steps just fine.

Fastest Way to a Refund

So much cheaper than going to my old tax man and TurboTax doesn't miss anything! It takes most human error out of the process.

2113 Turbo tax

I know more on how my taxes are done and at a tenth of the cost over using any tax preparer. With a minimum risk of exposing tax detail to those who would file false documents.
I trust Turbo Tax protects the system data and would be greatly disturbed if this trust was misplaced as it has been with so many others we depend on for financial transactions.
What's great about it: Smooth as usual
What's not so great: on the few questions, help was easier and more specific from non TurboTaxsources.
