Easy to understand all the steps

I've used Turbo Tax since 2007. I like the way the previous year is imported, so that there's less to retype, and you can compare this year's figures with last year's.
What's great about it: Software made it seem like someone was helping me all the way.
What's not so great: Could use a better Help link.

Turbo Tax is truly the best software on the market. I have used this product for over 25 years and it has consistently been dependable! It is so easy to use that I am able to complete my federal and state returns without any stress in two hours-and my return has a few pages! I find myself sipping a glass of wine after this task because it is soooo easy to use, thus, I drink from satisfaction not frustration! :)
What's great about it: The section guides, ease of use, year after year dependability
What's not so great: I really don't have any cons....and I'm not a "con artist"!

too much work

Disappointed it asked me a question about past use of a student deduction. I've been using this program for 5 years. Why do I have to manually go look? STUPID WASTE OF TIME!!
Then when I enter the info, it didnt make a difference anyway!
I needed a 1040ez for my daughters return but it used 1040 anyhow.
Very disappointed.
What's great about it: got it done
What's not so great: Had to do lots of work not needed - wouldnt do 1040 ez

Data input and process went well. Did not encounter prior year troubles because no Schedule K-1 forms were available in time for processing this year. I hope working on 2014 taxes next year with two Schedule K-1's won't create any problems.
Satisfied! Good migration and compatibility from year to year - at least for the past few.
What's great about it: Prior year's data import - smooth!
What's not so great: Additional State software pricing a bit expensive considering the base price already paid for the Deluxe version.

What's great about it: Very good guidance on tricky subjects.
What's not so great: A very few places not clear just where to enter information. Had to correct when doing review.

Seemed like this year went more smoothly than last year. Perhaps my return wasn't as complicated by stock sales, etc. I know it saves us hundreds of dollars!
What's great about it: Reliable program thaty remembers past years for comparison and carry-forwards
What's not so great: Still gotta do it!

Simple, Accurate, and Fast Tax Return Filing

Turbo Tax always delivers year after year, and this year it even got better with their professional staff making sure that all required information to be input are asked and answered correctly. Even a non-smart or not so intelligent person about taxes can use the software to file his/her return. The language is in simple English and easy to understand.
What's great about it: Provides easy step for all required input for tax filing
What's not so great: Nothing that I can think of!

This is the easiest version you have created. I remember an earlier version that was somewhat confusing towards the end of the program. when it came to both printing and e-filing. Great job.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: No cons.
