Taxes in 1 day!

Turbo tax is such an easy program to use. I like the explanations that this program provides when you have any questions. The explanations are written clearly and they are very easy to understand. This makes tax preparation easy and quick. I also like that this program is very comprehensive. It covers all of the topics for potential deductions on your taxes. Great job Turbo tax. You made my life easy this year.
What's great about it: Fast and easy!

Pretty Solid Program

I was unable to e-file the federal return because of the error message that it could not be validated because the updates needed to be installed. It sent me back to install the updates for both state and federal, and in spite of repeating this process at least half a dozen times, it kept finding that it needed to be updated! I was extremely disappointed that I had to give up and follow the instruction that if it persisted, then I would have to file by mailing the returns in. That's the only reason it didn't get five stars!
What's great about it: Easy to follow and somewhat foolproof
What's not so great: Unable to e-file due to glitch in updating the program

Great Product

Some of the questions require a response of "none of the above", some have a "Yes/No" requirement, while others allow leaving everything blank to indicate a NO response. There is not consistency. Also, if I had a K-1 in the past and no longer receive it, there does not appear to be any way to delete it.
What's great about it: Does as much as possible with last year's information
What's not so great: Going back to change something can be quite cumbersome

Used the CD this year, but it didn't update or use my info from last year when I used the online edition. It was like I started from the beginning.

Some disappoint compared to prior years!

Prior to my 2012 return I used TurboTax for my 2010 and 2011 returns. Unlike those filing years, for 2013 I found completing entry of my Schedule K-1 Form 1065 to be relatively difficult. The difficulty wasn't in entering the amounts from the various boxes, but in answering the programs questions about the basis of some of the dollar entries. I don't recall this being the case with your 2010 and 2011 Deluxe Edition products. This one thing caused my overall rating to be 4-Star and of 5-Star.
What's great about it: Entering numbers and information to populate the relative forms instead of manually completing the forms
What's not so great: Entering Schedule K-1 Form 1065. Not having program calculator for Medical Eenses like the one for Donations

No Stress, Much Rest

This was another great and stress-free year. Turbo TAX saved the day with it's easy to follow instructions.
What's great about it: Easy to follow guide; 2012 information was right there.
What's not so great: Did ot have Sales Tax update on the new TurboTAX
