Down with the IRS, Up Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax has always performed as expected. While we prefer using the PC software so we can take our time maybe next year we will consider doing the online version. TT makes it easy.
What's great about it: No issues, no concerns, everything worked as we expected.
What's not so great: Integration with OK State process had to complete manually. Non-resident return was a hassel
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Update problems on Mac

I got caught in an endless "failed to transmit" problem on Mac. TurboTax kept asking me to update the program. The process takes a while and when I am about to transmit again, it fails and asks me to update yet again, I had to reboot to successfully transmit the return. This issue spoiled good initial impression,
What's great about it: Clear walkthrough
What's not so great: efile transmit problems

2013 Return

I buy turbo tax to e-file. I update files as directed yet e-file doesn't work. I'll be requesting a refund since the product didn't perform as promised.
What's great about it: easy to file / great to transfer records
What's not so great: e-file didn't work!

TubroTax 2013

When my standard deduction was reduced this year; it would have been nice if TT told me that this was happening - I had to review this fact with my own internet searches.
Overall I am very happy with TT. I have been using it for about 5 or 6 years. Never had a problem. Will use it again next year
What's great about it: All the data is there and it brings in last years data and will do the same next year, prompts for earnings and deductio
What's not so great: Help windows in a few instances could give more useful information

TTax 2013

TTAX 2013 was great to use again. Cheaper to use it than many tax services! One complaint this year is when an elective radio button is used but due to a rule(not eligible) a form(M1PR) or change is not possible indicate that this form or result is not possible! Had to go into debug mode to figure out why the form was not being filled out or in the list of forms in my return!
What's great about it: Easy to follow many of the old complaints like making text bigg have been fixed!!!
What's not so great: Help site needs help! More feed back and or action flags needed.

Get it right

Checks all possible areas of tax structure--both federal and state. If you use it on a continuing basis TurboTax remembers all data from previous years and makes posting your data as easy as 123. Will never use another method of filing.
What's great about it: Just follow the prompts
What's not so great: I should have done it sooner

After havinf done the AARP volunteer work, I find the turbo tax program very well organized.
What's great about it: very easy to use
