Super Easy and Smart

I really like using TurboTax and have been a fan for over 19 years. It gets better and better every year. However, I did not use state e-file feature because California tax board offers this service for free. It would be great if there was an option or a link to the CA-FTB to save us $$.
What's great about it: Simple to use not a lot complicated explanations
What's not so great: Have to pay extra for state e-file

Import of last year's isn't complete. Final e-filing starts but has to stop due to an update. That check should occur sooner in the final steps. & then nothing was said about needing to restart TT, but it kept saying updates needed until I saved & restarted.
What's not so great: Even though imported last years return, TT still had to ask questions about it. That shouldn't happen.

15 year + User. Turbo Tax is a great product.

This year I would have liked to have seen the software and instructions address a sale or transfer of a mortgage from one lender to a new lien holder (not a new loan or a refinanced loan, but a continuation of the loan).
What's great about it: Well organized, easy to use. Does a great job of carrying forward info from prior years.

I made two errors in inputting the SS# of my children. After filing, and having my returned rejected, Inuit contacted me immediately by text message and email to help me fix the errors. And I was able to refile without charge. Thank you.
What's great about it: Caught error and notified me immediately!

This year was the easiest and quickest I have ever done. I have used past few years but nothing compares with the experience this year. Very user friendly.

A breeze to use

This is my 4th year using Turbo Tax and each time it gets easier. I appreciate the ability to start and stop without any problems. It has a good help & explanation feature, which I used.
I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
What's great about it: goes step by step, can stop & resume with ease anytime

2013 - Good / Bad / Different

As mentioned above, great product and liked the additional clarity around deductions this year.
If I could code improvements, they'd be:
- prior to having information put in on College/Dependents and $$ etc.. have a call out like in Medical that states, 'hey, unless you plan on having 'x' dollars or more, don't waste your time' Spent about 20min entering all the info only to be advised - sorry.. Medical calls it right out
- For those old timers like me who are weary of having my data stored on servers and prefer to print out - I'd include a color code or you only need pages 'x' through 'y' opposed to having to thumb through each page and look to see which ones I mail. Yes, it can be done, but would be cool to print out the copies and quickly denote 'x' I need.. the others I keep for ref. Again.. if I could code.

What's not so great: Wasn't a big fan of not being able to print direct this year. Had to download Adobe etc.. it all worked, but cleaner b4
