Easily done in a couple of hours, except for when I had to dig info out of Quicken.
What's great about it: Generally easy to do following all the guiding steps & reading the explanations when necessary.
What's not so great: A lot of items that just did not apply to us.

We have used TurboTax for 10+ years and have been very pleased with the software. We have several rental properties and a personal business. We used to struggle with all of the forms. Now we simply fill in the questions and our return is finished. What used to take us days to finish now takes us about 3-4 hours.
What's great about it: Great for our rental properties; easy to use for deductions and expenses

Way to Go, Turbo

Overall a very satisfying and easy experience. I have used Turbo Tax for the past three years and filing has not been the worrying "did I do it right" experience it used to be.
I love how the tax refund builds but I can see that could be worrying if you start to owe taxes.
One thing I'd like improved is a "what if" scenario for the next tax year. It is one thing to do a W4 but it is something else to be able to play with numbers (what if I put this amount into a tax shelter, what if I give more to charity, etc.). Perhaps that already exists but I don't see how to access it.
