Turbo Tax is an excellent way to file your taxes.

Turbo tax is the best way to file. The downside of it is that the State e- filing takes away all your return when you e-file. from $311 I was getting back, I'm only getting 190. I find that outrageous.
What's great about it: Easy, fast , accurate
What's not so great: State e-filing fees are too much.

Easy, Breezy!

The program always ask if you want to return with the state of Florida, but Florida doesn't have state tax. Not sure why it always offers it, and at a charge.

I purchased Turbo tax because I read it was better than tax cut in importing financial statements. WRONG. it is worse. I paid more and got less. Also it is not easy to figure how to print state return for filing - I know you just want more $$ from me but it was really irritating and will make me less likely to use turbo tax in the future due to being cumbersome and time consuming.
What's not so great: would not import w2, other docs

Easier than Expected!

I don't know what I was so afraid of. I have hesitated trying Turbo Tax for years. This year I was challenged by one of our instructors at work and I am so glad I took his challenge.

It's Late, I'm Tired, and I'm Done !!

I have used TurboTax for years, and liked it, but it just goes on forever. This one seems to be much simpler and streamlined. Although I started late, I was able to complete the deed in less time. Impressed with everything except the pricing. Everything increased in price, and there were 2 versions of Deluxe, which fooled me, and I almost went out of the store with the wrong product.
What's great about it: Streamlined this year. Much more clear, simple, and to the point
What's not so great: All prices went up, a lot. I almost walked out of the store with the Deluxe version without State - new option - BAD.

Best Year Yet

I appreciate that you included the ability to enter donated goods to It's Deductible within TurboTax itself so that I did not have to go to the It's Deductible website adding another step to the process. Way to go! Finished it in one sitting without my head wanting to explode.
You unfortunately do not have RITA calculations correct. Have to go to their website to do it.
What's great about it: included the It's Deductable within the process
What's not so great: RITA calculations are never correct

Years ago, at someone's suggestion, I used one of the pop up tax services and was not all that impressed. I then was given a copy of turbo tax and ran the program for that same year. Needless to say, I wish I would have used turbo tax that year. My return was better and it was significantly cheaper.

Consistent filing

The program seems to cover all angles to give you the full coverage for your tax return. I can't see spending the money that those tax preparers charge when I can use Turbo tax. I have used Turbo Tax for more than 10 years and it does a great job.
What's great about it: questions asked to complete tax return, download last years return
What's not so great: printing the tax return as compared to last year
