Easy to use. Could be greatly improved with increased population from last years return.
What's great about it: relatively easy
What's not so great: Should already populate some info like last years AMT info
Pros: I had a baby, I bought or sold investments

Unbelievable Assistance

I needed to report a personal loan that had become uncollectable as a short-term capital loss. It was very difficult to find where and how to list the loss. The TurboTax support professional worked with me for more than two hours, walking me step-by-step through the various forms and calculations. In addition to solving my problems, the TurboTax professional was very friendly and patient throughout the whole process.
What's great about it: TurboTax's CPAs really are available for phone consultation!
What's not so great: Special situations are hard to resolve.

I dropped out of the guided entry several times because it was not clear where it was heading. The do-it-yourself track was pretty easy to skip around and save time
What's great about it: almost no effort on the state return
What's not so great: unclear where to put estimated tax payments

Taxes Made Easy!

This is only my second year filing with Turbo Tax, and I can't imagine going the pen and paper route again. I feel more confident that I'm not missing anything, and the double-checks as you go through the process just reinforce that. I've been such a "dinosaur" in the past, but I'm glad my friends finally talked me into trying Turbo Tax -- it's so much easier, and my returns are always received VERY quickly!
What's great about it: Walks you right through the returns

Turbo Tax Never Disappoints

Over 10 years of successful filing with Turbo Tax has reinforced my confidence that all possible areas of my return are always presented to me correctly, always with links to the relevant worksheets and forms, as well as to help pages from Turbo Tax, forums and corresponding IRS instructions and documents. I am also confident that the software makes all the calculations correctly and determines what other related sections and forms I should consider, given the data I've provided.
I do wish that when I return to a section on my own or by using a flag on the topic, that the "walk-you-through" steps would provide one overview page so that the desired step could be addressed without having to click through each preceding or subsequent question. Then, I trust, the software would calculate and tell me if my particular change then required other questions to be re-considered.
But I plan to continue using Turbo Tax in any case.
What's great about it: Option to go straight to any section or to use the "walk-you-through" steps AND relevant forms are linked on each page.
What's not so great: The "walk-you-through" steps don't provide an optional overview list of links to subsections.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is my only go to for tax filing!

I've been using TurboTax for several years now and prior to that I would pay a professional too much money to do what you offer at a reasonable fee.
What's great about it: Easy, thorough, secure!
What's not so great: None that I can think of...
